Who will be your guide?

Your guide during our photo adventures will be Presiyan Petkov - proffesional mountain guide and landscape photographer. 

He is keen on chasing the perfect Light, on the perfect location and time and constantly improve his photography skills. His source of inspiration is Nature beauty and diversity during the transitional seasons - Autumn and Spring.

He has hiking a lot in the Bulgarian mountains to spot every location from our tours.

What to pack for the tour?

Gear:

  • DSLR or mirrorless camera with interchangeble lenses
  • Tripod and remote shutter release
  • Set of lenses - wide-angle, middle-zoom and  telephoto zoom
  • Filters (optional) - polarizing filter (very useful and irreplaceable by post-processing in nature photography), ND filter for motion blur shot (preferably 10-stop), ND Graduated filters for sunrise/sunset sessions

Wear:

  • Waterproof and windproof jacket and pants
  • Wellingtons  or trail/trecking water resistant boots/shoes (confortably for walking on a mountain trails)
  • Warm jacket and thermal pants (for sunrise, sunset sessions)
  • We will provide rubber boots/fishing waders for waterfall sessions, but if you preffer you can bring yours
  • Repelents, sun protection, any other personal wears
  • Hats (for sun and cold) and gloves

How do I register for a tour?

What is the required fitness level?

Moderate fitness is required for most of the tours, since we will be trecking to some destinations. Most of the shooting locations are generally accessible by vehicle, but to some of the spots we will have to make 2-4 hours of moderate difficulty trecking.

Do I need to bring a computer?

We don't have planned session for post-processing, but if you want you can bring your laptop and use free hours at the hotel for post-processing. We will make everything possible to answer any questions that may arise!

What is your payment and cancellation policy?

Payment details will be provided upon request. A non-refundable deposit of  EUR100 is required to reserve a space on our tours. The final balance is due and payable 30 days before the tour starting date.

What to expect from our tours?

We have designed these tours specially for landscape photographers. We will guide you through the most magnificent places in Bulgaria. Dates of our tours are carefully planned in order to maximize nature conditions on these specific locations (autumn foliage, spring bloosom, etc). If we are lucky and have the right weather conditions we will be able to make great nature photos!

However since we are fully depending on the weather conditions, we are prepared to change our program accordingly and visit other intersting places in a case of bad weather!
